Tax Evasion and the United States

The Economist reports that US policy lacks consistency when it comes to the fight against cross border tax evasion. While the US pushed for international cooperation against countries that helped Americans evade taxes it does not provide similar support when it comes to tax evasion by foreigners in the US.
